Obituary for RAWLINSON

James "Jim" Rawlinson, 65, a resident of New Mexico for over 13 years, passed away Wednesday January 28, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Cynthia Rawlinson; children Darrell Rawlinson, James Maurice Rawlinson, Zandra Rawlinson, Paris Rawlinson, Maya Rawlinson, and Carol Renee Jones; grandchildren DaJon Johnson, Summer Rawlinson along with five others; six great grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Ellis, Joyce Love, Mary Love, JoAnne Love; brother Otis Love and a large, extended family. Mr. Rawlinson worked as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager for the US Department of Agriculture. He was an active member of Blacks in Government, the Knights of Columbus, and the Prince Hall Masons. Jim was a parishioner at St. John the XXIII Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 3, 11:00 am at St. John the XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive, NE. Private disposition will follow.
