Salomon Montoya, 89, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 29, 2009. Salomon is survived by his loving wife Gertrude and his children Anna Hernandez and husband Paul, Arthur Montoya and Rachel Rivera and husband Andy, his seven grandchildren; Paul Hernandez and wife Crystal, Manuel Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez, Jacob Rivera, Adam Rivera, Tina Montoya, Jessica Montoya, Marlene Garcia and Diego Ballejos as well as his five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a Rosary following at 7:00 pm also on Thursday, at the 8th St. Chapel.
