Ylia M. In loving memory of: Ylia M. Garcia Born: February 2, 1930 Died: January 12, 2009 Always in our hearts Ylia Garcia passed away in Albuquerque at the age of 78. She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Garcia on November 26, 1996. She is survived by her aunt, Bertha Morales; uncle, Rudy Morales; children, Dolores G. Chavez and husband, Pat, Larry Garcia, John A. Garcia; a grandson she raised, Joel R. Hill and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Christopher, Richard, Matthew, Denise and Evangeline; and great-grandchildren, Desiree, Robert, Candice, Brianna, Niyah, Anthony, Julianne, Melokei, and Xavier. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at The First Spanish Baptist Church, 812 Fruit Ave. NW at 10:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Christopher Chavez, Matthew Chavez, Robert Hill, Richard Garcia, Eddie Robles and Vince Herrera.
