Antonia W. "Toni" Linden, age 92 of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2009 at a local assisted living center. She was born on February 7, 1916 in Gallitzin, PA to Ferdinand and Bronislava Walkosz. Toni married Michael J. Linden in 1947. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1997 after 50 yrs of marriage. During the majority of her adult life, Toni and Michael lived in East Northport, NY and raised their sons, later they moved to Albuquerque, NM to be closer to their family and grandchildren in 1993. Mrs. Linden was a former Member of Risen Savior Catholic Community Church in Albuquerque and Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Linden of Albuquerque, NM, Ronald Linden of Las Vegas, NV, and Michael Linden and his wife, Erika of Tijeras, NM; her grandchildren, Deidre Linden and Nicholas Linden both of Tijeras, NM; and many cousins in the Cleveland, OH area; and Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania. Services will be held Monday, January 12, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Central New Mexico, 1410 Coal Ave. SW, 87104 or to the charity of your choice.
