Ernesto Jaramillo, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, age 80, went to rest peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2009. Ernesto was born April 22, 1928 in Juan Tomas, NM. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and worked in concrete construction industry for many years. He enjoyed hunting, singing, playing his guitar in the church choir, making puzzles, and playing cards. Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents, Abenicio and Anna Maria Jaramillo; brother Manuel; two sisters, Eduwigen and Teresita. He is survived by his wife, Emilia of 62 years; children, Elba and husband, Joe, Deluvina and husband, Acasio, Corina and husband, Melcor, Rudy and wife, Sophie, Annie and husband, Elias, Marylou, Gloria and husband, Guadalupe, and David; twenty-five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carlos and wife, Carmelita, Luis and wife, Marcella; sister, Reyes and husband, Anselmo. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him. A Rosary will be recited at San Ignacio Parish Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Communion Service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. also at San Ignacio Parish, 1300 Walter, NE.
