Ivan Neal Humble, 85, long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008. He was born April 2, 1923 in Sawyer, KS. Neal graduated from Kansas State University. He served his country in the US Navy Submarine Service during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. Neal retired from Sandia National Labs. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years LaVerna Jean; daughter Debra Wedemeyer and husband William L.; grandchildren, William M. Wedemeyer and wife Christy, Kimberly Hill and husband Dan, Audra Iversen and Aaron Wedemeyer; great grandchildren Erin Hill, Clayton Hill and Elijah Iversen; brother Irvin Humble and sister Donna Humble. Neal was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Ruby Humble; son Michael Humble and his brother Gail. Friends and family may visit French Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE, Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
