Beverly V. Martin, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978, died at her home Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Beverly was born in Clintonville, WI, on March 29, 1921 to Ward and Meta Winchester. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jim Martin; children Dan Behnke and wife Kathy of Marshfield, WI, Lynn Husen and husband Hank of Dandridge, TN, Charles Behnke and wife Louise of New London, WI, Amy Quimby of Appleton, WI, Sara Korb and partner Greg Bredael of Green Bay, WI, Mary Donato of Albuquerque, Betty Newell and husband Bob of Peralta, and Pete Martin and wife Karen of Richland, OR; 30 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Laurel L. Behnke. Mrs. Martin was a longtime member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville, WI and Faith Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, NM. Beverly sang with the Enchanted Mesa Chapter of Sweet Adelines. She was also a well known soloist in Clintonville WI before moving to Albuquerque. Services will be held Monday, January 5, 2009, 11:00 a.m., Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain N.E. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville, WI in the Spring. Should friends desire, contributions may be made in her memory to Sweet Adelines International, P.O.
