Donald Arthur Hibner, 93, of McIntosh, NM passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM with his loving family beside him. Donald was born on May 12, 1915 to Alvin Clarence and Nora Rachel (Vanderford) Hibner in Estancia, NM. He married Lucille Morris on July 14, 1941 in Albuquerque, NM and she preceded him in death on August 1, 2004. Donald was a member of the American Legion, the Farm Bureau and the Dairyman's Association. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Clarence Hibner, Kenneth Hibner, Wilmer Hibner, Melvin Hibner, Robert Hibner; and sister, Velma Scott. He is survived by sons, Donald "Buddy" Hibner and wife Amy of Springer, NM; Ron Hibner and wife Molly of McIntosh, NM; daughters, Janet Douglas and husband Charles of Estancia, NM; Marilyn Hoyt and husband Floyd of Brighton, CO; Pat Coad and husband Jim of Albuquerque, NM; Diane Schwebach and husband Michael of Cedar Hill, NM; brother, Glen Hibner and wife Julie of Cottage Grove, OR; sister, Margie Artman and husband W.C. of Estancia, NM; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estancia Church of Christ. Ministers Floyd Robertson and Johnny Moore will be officiating.
