Wilbert (Woody) C. Smith passed away Sunday at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings and wife, Gladys. Woody is survived by his sons: Woody Smith II and wife, Susan; Ernest Smith and wife, Irene; James Smith and wife, Joanne; daughter, Cecilia Owens-Vosburg; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was an avid baseball player, coach and #1 fan of the Carlsband Cavemen baseball program. He helped many young people become better baseball players and better people. Mr. Smith was a World War II veteran in the Navy and served honorably with the SeaBees in the South Pacific.
