Orienne Lucille Wright, age 87, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 in Albuquerque. She was born March 21, 1921 in Oklahoma to Frank and Mattie Haigwood. Orienne and her husband, R. D. Wright, were long time residents of Albuquerque. She was a professional model and Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant for many years. Orienne was an avid doll collector with many dolls in her collection. She is survived by her sons, Michael W. Wright, Gerald V. Wright, Fred D. Wright; sister, Pauline Skinner; brother, Arthur Lee Haigwood; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members. Orienne was preceded in death by her husband; one sister; and one brother. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
