Obituary for LOVATO

Tony Lovato, age 84, beloved brother of Mandy Chavez, Casimiro Lovato Jr. and wife Caroline, Benny Lovato and wife Lorella, and Gabriel Marquez and wife Dedie, was called to Eternal Life, Sunday, December 21, 2008. Tony was born on December 19, 1924 to the late Casimiro and Florencia Lovato in Algodones, NM, and was a resident of Albuquerque formerly of California. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army who served his country during the World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. Tony was a member of the American Legion Post #69. Tony is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a few of his siblings, Juanita and Pete Lovato, Frances Martinez, Irene Sandoval, Jessie Griego, and Vicky Archibeque. Visitations will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, followed by Funeral Services at 9:00 a.m. Committal service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be David Gurule, Gabriel Griego, Benny Anthony Lovato, Arthur Sandoval, Johnny Martinez, and Carlos Marquez.
