Pauline Quintana-Dominguez, 89, a lifelong resident of New Mexico went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, December 18, 2008. Pauline was a resident of Albuquerque since 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Andres (Andy); daughter Nickie and son Mario; also a grandson Tony Martinez; sister Beatrice, brother Louis and son-in-law Jim Davis. She is survived by her children Gina Hoyal and husband Jim, Gloria Dominguez, Carlos Dominguez and wife Paula, Mary Davis, Margaret Dominguez, and Andrea Crespin; also her 18 precious grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Daniel, Felix and Archie Quintana; three sisters, Martina Arizmendi, Marie Garcia, and Connie Crespin all residing in Colorado and many loving nieces and nephews. Pauline will be remembered for her beautiful smile and spirit, ensuring all who knew her held a special place in her heart. She was an active member of Our Lady of Assumption Parish for over 50 years and sang with her husband in the Spanish Choir for several years. She enjoyed baking, sewing and family gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Monday, December 29, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 30, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee NE. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice, 8300 Constitution NE, ABQ, 87110.
