Myrtle Phillips, age 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1920, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Rubin Phillips Sr.; by her six children Cloyd Phillips and wife Marvell, Linda Gonder, Lavonne Harris and husband Robert, Rubin Phillips Jr., and wife Brenda, Larry Phillips and wife Lesa, and Ruenette Mosby and husband Robert; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Athalia Jones and Bernice Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl McDonald; and son Choyce Phillips. A Service will be held on Friday December 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel 1100 Coal Ave. SE., with Burial Services to immediately follow at Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale Blvd SE.
