Dennis Lee Carr, 48, died at his home in Albuquerque Friday, December 12. His death comes as a complete and devastating shock to those who knew and love him. Dennis was a gifted and gentle soul and very talented writer and musician. He was the brightest light in any situation, his beautiful smile could light up anyone near him. He will be missed and is beloved by so many. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Susan Romero; his father, Bill Carr, stepmother, Beth and grandmother, Violet of Florida; his mother, Alice and stepfather, Jim Crocker of Pennsylvania; his brothers Keith, of California; and Brian and his family, sister-in-law Danielle, nieces Heather, Emily and Laura Beth, and nephews, Kenny and Kevin of Colorado; his mother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kathy Smetana and Mary Anne Romero of California; and many much-loved cousins and friends. Dennis was recently preceded in death by his beloved father-in-law, Dr. John Romero, who the family prays was there to accept Dennis and to lead him into the light. Services for Dennis will be held in Pennsylvania, Long Beach, Calif and Albuquerque.
