Obituary for TURRIETTA

Anthony J. Turrietta, 53, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2008, at his residence in Albuquerque. Anthony worked as an offshore oil rig driller for many years in the Texas area and overseas. For the past 15 years, he has lived in Albuquerque. Mr. Turrietta is survived his sisters, Christine Brandt, Albuquerque, NM, Patricia Elderkin, Concord, NH, Linda Shreve, Union City, PA, Aileen Meyer, Albuquerque, NM; and his brother Harold Myers, Titusville, PA. He is also survived by his nephews Michael Sandoval, Matthew Sandoval, Nathan Meyer, Jesse Elderkin, Ben Shreve and Aaron Shreve; and his nieces Amy Elderkin and Natalie Meyer. He also had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that were very close to him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will follow in the summer of 2009, when his ashes will be distributed at his favorite location. A private Memorial Service for long-time family and friends was conducted at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, Titusville, PA. Daniels Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd., NE, was in charge of the arrangements in Albuquerque.
