Ned Miller, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on September 25, 1931 to Lillian and Edward Miller in White Plains, NY. Ned was bigger than life, who always gave a smile and always lived life to the fullest. He loved tennis, skiing, and world travel. Ned graduated from Bucknell University, where he played on the Varsity basketball team, and was member of the Cap and Dagger Drama Society. He was a Certified Life Underwriter, and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and the Top of the Table. Having lived in Albuquerque since 1976, Ned was the immediate past president of the New Mexico-El Paso Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, where he offered support services and counseling to Lymphoma patients. He was the past president of the New Mexico Council for the Humanities, a member of the board of the NM Holocaust Museum, a past member of the board of the Albuquerque Little Theatre, and a past member of the boards of the Jewish Historical Society and Congregation Albert. He was a member of Rotary and The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. Ned is survived by his wife, Anita Miller and their children, Jonathan and Alison Miller. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd NE at 1:00 p.m. with Rabbi Black officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
