Obituary for HOMET

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday December 07, 2008

Hugh A. (Tony) Homet, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 5, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born to Roland and Mildred Homet in Mont Estoril, Portugal. Tony's passion was to share the love of Christ with those around him and to pray for anyone who had a need. Nothing gave him greater joy than to let God use him in this way. We will miss him, but we know that he is rejoicing in the presence of Christ. He served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army, but his greatest service was working for Faith Comes by Hearing for over 18 years. Tony is survived by his three daughters, Karen Warin and husband, Leroy, Tracy Coffing and husband, Dale, and Jackie Garrity and husband, Tom, all of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one brother, Roland S. Homet of Virginia; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Dale Coffing officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Please visit our online guestbook for Tony at RememberTheirStory.com French 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
