Elizabeth M. Gonzales, 85, died Sunday, November 23, 2008 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband Joseph Christopher Gonzales; daughter Mary Agnes Flaherty (Richard); son Don Maestas (Mary Lou); daughter-in-law Gerrie Maestas; stepsons Joey and Martin Gonzales; grandchildren Melissa, Celina, Gabriel, Anthony, and James; two great-grandchildren Mason and Reya; siblings Maureen, Lorraine, and Leandro; sister-in-law Celia and brother-in-law Edmund. She has now joined her son, Robert, who preceded her in death. Elizabeth's great loves were her family and dancing. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, on Monday, December 1, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., with Father Tom Zotter officiating.
