Joseph J. Chavez died Monday, November 24, 2008, in Albuquerque at the age of 28. Joseph is survived by his mother, Josephine Chavez; stepfather, Lawrence Michelback; father, Charles Chavez; great-grandmother, Emilia Chavez; sisters, Erica Michelback, Alisha Michelback and fiance, Rodger Mathes; and Chantel Chavez; brother, Steven Chavez; grandmother, Priscilla Palacio; grandfather, Frank Martinez; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and lots of friends. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd, NW, on Saturday, November 29, 2008. A Rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. A Committal Service will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith, NE.
