Anselmo (Curly) M. Giron, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 23, 2008. Mr. Giron is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Cora Giron; children, Gene Giron and wife, Sofie, Maria Giron, Yvonne Harrel and husband, David, and Jerome Giron; sister, Neph Carrillo; nine grandchildren, Kim, Eric, Jesse, Adam, Jude, Dana, Scotty, Chris and Brian; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other extended family members. Mr. Giron was preceded in death by his daughter, Isabel; and sister, Marie Martinez. Mr. Giron was a member of the Catholic Church; Veteran of the U.S. Army, Marines and the National Guard. Visitaiton will be Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gene Giron. Final Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at San Juan Catholic Church, Veguita, NM, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to Veguita Cemetery, Veguita, NM. Pallbearers will be Eric Giron, Adam Giron, Scotty Giron, Jude Giron, Isaac Giron, and Eddie Vallez.
