Obituary for OLGEIRSON

Beulah Olgeirson, 88, formerly of Belen, NM, passed away on November 11, 2008, near her birthplace in North Dakota. Sigurbjorg Beulah Thorsteinson was born May 31, 1920. She married O.B. "Barney" Olgeirson on March 17, 1956, and moved to Anchorage, AK, where she worked as a Public Health Nurse and he as a vehicle maintenance supervisor at Richardson Army Base. They retired to Belen, NM, in the 1970's. Beulah was well known for baking exceptional brown bread, which was a best seller at volunteer fire department fund raisers. After Barney passed away in 1998, Beulah moved back to North Dakota. A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service for Beulah will be held next summer, with interment in the Gardar Pioneer Cemetery, Gardar, ND. Her family may be contacted at PO Box 3233, Bismarck, ND 58502.
