Elias "Lejoe" Maez Jr., age 68, a resident of Valencia, NM, joined his mom, dad, brothers, and sisters at the gates of heaven on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Lejoe held many jobs in his life, until he and his wife founded Maez Water Wells in 1971. Lejoe took pride and enjoyed watching the growth of his family business. All Services will be held at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, in Los Lunas, on Saturday, November 22, 2008 beginning with a public Viewing at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Valencia Catholic Cemetery.
