Rachel M. Murray, formally of Chicago, IL and Albuquerque, NM died peacefully after a long illness on November 4, 2008 at the age of 79 at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin, VT. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Dennis Murray; and her siblings David and Michael Grier. She is survived by two beloved daughters, Pam and Camilla Strauss; two granddaughters, Sarah Leitson and Alana LaPoint; and three grandsons, Joshua and David Leitson and Ian LaPoint. She loved playing the piano, dancing, and listening to music. She saw the humor in much of life and loved to laugh. She was always a champion of the underdog and connected easily with all kinds of people. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
