Obituary for BONNELL

Lee Bonnell, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. He was born on April 28, 1917 in San Patricio, NM to the late Nelson and Agnes Coe Bonnell. Lee was one of eight children. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Naomi Bonnell of the family home; sister, Annie Mills of Texas. Lee worked for Kennecott Copper for 30 years as a railroad engineer and for Albuquerque Public Schools for 12 years as a truck driver. He was a member of Civilian Conservation CORPS. Mr. Bonnell was an avid square dancer and sports fan, especially liked the Dallas Cowboys. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Graveside will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008, 3:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
