Charlotte Berneice Weeks, 97, longtime resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 3, 2008. She is survived by her son, Thomas Weeks and wife, Beverley of Albuquerque; daughter, Sharon Ballenger and husband, Lewis of CA; granddaughters, Michelle Kilikauskas and husband, Andrew of CA, Dana Salinas and husband, Candido of OR, Nancy Vinella and husband, Steve of NY, and Sharon Akins and husband, Patrick of Rio Rancho; great-grandchildren, Corinna and Alexander Kilikauskas, Diego and Maya Salinas, Megan Vinella, and one expected in June; and many special friends and loved ones. Charlotte was born Friday, April 7, 1911. She was adopted by Ella and David Fultz of Columbia City, IN on July 7, 1911 and grew up on a farm there in Indiana. She married her grade school sweetheart, Luther Weeks, who preceded her in death February 6, 1972. Friends may visit Friday, November 7, 2008, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Northdale Baptist Church, 123 Osuna Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Socorro Cemetery.
