Patrick "Big Dog" Martinez Patrick passed away on the morning of October 24, 2008 unexpectedly at his home in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Cortez, CO on March 2, 1970 to Andronico and Sofie Martinez and resided most of his life in Dolores, CO. Patrick's great loves were his family and friends, Scorpions Hockey, fishing and being in the mountains. His jokes, great personality and enthusiasm for life drew people to him wherever he went. Patrick touched so many lives and made them richer in ways that can never be forgotten. He will be sorely missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Andronico Martinez. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife Sarah Peterson and their daughter Sierra; his mother Sofie Martinez; brothers Sam and wife Phyllis and brother Gilbert; sisters Helen and husband Armando, Cathleen and husband Paul and Frances and husband Brad. Patrick had 17 nieces and nephews as well as 14 great nieces and nephews and a large extended family. A Memorial Service will be held at Riverside Funeral Home on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 3pm.
