Richard "Dick" Elsen, 82, passed away on November 1, 2008 while surrounded by his family. He was born November 5, 1925 to William and Irene Elsen in Milwaukee, WI. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Terri Elsen, both long time residence of Elephant Butte, NM; eight children, Jeanne Elsen and husband David Civetti, James Elsen, Beth Fincham and husband Lowell, John Elsen and wife Nance, Pat Reddish and husband Andy, and Tim Elsen all of Albuquerque, NM, Joe Elsen and wife Kelly of Norman, OK, and Bob Elsen of Chardon, OH. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and expecting three more great-grandchildren; two sisters, sister Margaret Elsen of WI and Mary Ann Pederson and husband Ole of Kansas; and a host of family and friends. Dick graduated from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, WI as an electrical engineer; and worked for SGS Witter & Associates. Dick was a devoted Catholic. Visitations will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., in the Wyoming Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge DR. NE. Cremation to follow.
