Ramon G. Marquez, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 25, 2008. Mr. Marquez was born on January 26, 1935 to Florencio and Carmen Marquez in Denver, CO. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors including boating, fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Marquez was a member of Calvary Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio and Carmen Marquez and his brothers, Alberto Marquez and Amadeo Marquez. He is survived by his children, Virginia Brown, David Marquez, Arthur Marquez and Alex Marquez; his siblings, Agneda Espinoza, Reynaldo Marquez, Lee Marquez, Heraldo Marquez, Jerry Marquez, and Amado Marquez, all of Roswell, NM, Tomas Marquez, of El Paso, TX, Richard Marquez of Murrieta, CA, and Jose Marquez, of Las Cruces, NM; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives who mourn his passing. A View and Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., at the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel 4001 Osuna Rd NE with Pastor Dave Row officiating. Mr. Marquez will then be laid to rest in Milagro, NM.
