Rose Tafoya. Family and friends are saddened by the passing of Rose on October 22, 2008. She is survived by her five children Joseph Tafoya, Mary Guyse, Albino Tafoya, Jr., Lorraine Bivins and husband Bob, and Leo Tafoya; 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and her close friend Amy Lucero. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Albino C. Tafoya; sisters Florence Padilla, Mabel Rubi, Dolores Alfaro and brothers Pelegrino Chavez and Delfino Rubi. Rose had a great love for working in her rose garden, making flower arrangements, people, and life. Her greatest love was always her family. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2008 with visitation starting at 5:00 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 28, at 9:00 a.m., at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
