Mardella Ervin, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, October 17, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by her son, Russell R. Ervin and wife Rose of Pojoaque, NM; daughter, Michele Roberts and husband Al of Colorado Springs; son, Rick D. Ervin of Albuquerque; daughter, Rebecca Jenkins-Valdez and husband Pat of Albuquerque; son, Michael J. Ervin, Jr. and wife Christina of Surprise, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Billie Marie Slusher of Sulpher, LA and identical twin sister, Marcella McNabb of Fenton, LA; and seven nephews. Mardella was a retired nurse from the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at French Mortuary - Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE.
