Obituary for PERRIN

Wilfred "Willie" Jimmy Perrin, Jr., 61, a resident of Albuquerque since birth, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Lovelace Hospital. He is survived by his daughter, Verlene Irene Perrin; nieces, Frances Marie Brown and husband, Laurence, and Kimberly Kay McClammy; grandchildren, Michael Everette and Naakii Naats'iilid Brown, and William A. McClammy-Kimbrough; sister, Winifred J. Perrin-McClammy of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews across NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred J. Perrin, Sr. in 1960, and Frances Capitan in 2002. Willie was born to the Tabaahi Clan and was born for the Kiyaa'aanii Clan. After graduating from Valley High School in 1965, he went on to pursue a study in EE at UNM. After one year in college, he was drafted and served in the Army until 1969. Upon his return, he worked for the BIA and later for the NIYC. Willie enjoyed visiting relatives and friends, but most of all we will miss his big warm smile. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM.
