Rachel J. Herrera. Our beloved sister, Rachel J. Herrera, age 39, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, joined God on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Rachel was one of God's special angels with a heart of gold, she had nothing but love for everyone. She was called to heaven by our loving father and will be watching and guiding us for the rest of our days. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Porfilia Herrera and father, Jose Herrera. Rachel is survived by her two brothers, Eddie Herrera and wife, Linda and Stan Herrera and wife, Sherrie; two sisters, Bernadine May and Anna Marie Stowe and husband, Bradley; nieces and nephews, Lisa and husband, Don, Debbie, Eddie Tyanna, Ashly, Nathan, Keith, Jeremy, Nicole-Marie and great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Adam, Dominique, Angelique, Jennique and Izabella. She is also survived by her loving uncle and aunt, Chispas and Bernie Herrera and cousins, Tama Cates, and Marcos Herrera. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 490 Calle de Los Wences, in Los Lunas at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
