Obituary for ARMS

Euel Ernest Arms, 82, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2008. He was born in Lometa, TX on October 21, 1925 to U.S. and Ethel Arms. After being discharged from the US Navy, he married his wife of 60 years, Larine Hughes of Moriarty, NM, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Sullivan; and brother, Wesley Wayne Davis. He was cherished and will be deeply missed by his six children Doris and David Smith, Evelyn and Gene Mobley, Ernest and Louise Arms, Kathy Arms, Judy McGinty, Jerry and Elenita Arms; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Euel is also survived by a brother, Leroy Arms of Clyde, TX; and a sister, Eddie Jane Womack of Woodbury, TN. Additionally, he was loved and will be missed by his extended Hughes family, countless nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Albuquerque Revival Church, 124 Texas NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Moriarty, New Mexico.
