Anthony M. Cervantes, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his half sister, Frances Cervantes. Mr. Cervantes is survived by his parents, Joe and Betty Cervantes; children, Selia Cervantes, Anthony Cervantes Jr., Antoinette Maestas and husband, Michael, and Ernest Cervantes; daughter-in-law, Antoinette Castillo; former wife, Lorraine Cervantes; grandchildren, Gabriel Cervantes, Jakob Cervantes, Gregory Payne, Madison Payne and Mateo Maestas; siblings, Steven Cervantes and wife, Elizabeth, Irene Sena and husband, Blue, John Cervantes and wife, Veronica, Dora Lajeuenesse and husband, Guillermo, Phyllis Blea and husband, Andrew; half sisters and brother, Viola DeBorge, Dolores Vigil and Gerald Cervantes; aunt, Virginia Cortez and husband, Andrew; and his best friend, Scooter Jack. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Paul Cervantes Jr., Guillermo Lajeuenesse, Thomas Soto, Pat Benavidez, Max Maestas, and Juan Miguel Cervantes. Honorary pallbearer will be Geromy Brand.
