Clorinda (Cora) M. Herrera, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 27, 2008. Mrs. Herrera is survived by her children, Eileen Deme, Steve Herrera and wife, Lucy, Connie Sanchez and husband, Charles, Michael Herrera and wife, Lucille, Phillip Herrera and wife, Claudine, Therese Almager and husband Gilbert, Martin Herrera and wife, Jolene, and Angela Lussier and husband, Ray; sister, Ramona Perea; brothers, Joe Herrera and wife, Dulcelina, and Nabor Herrera and wife, Dolores; sister in law, Sally Chavez and husband, Fred; grandchildren, David, Bernadette, Alan, Stephanie, Monique, Andrea, Nicole, Jonathan, Diona, Tino, Samantha, Vanessa, Joseph, Michael, Gabe, Zack, Amanda, Matthew, Sabrina, Shelby, Sydney, Cristopher, Gabby, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Alexxus, Savana, Jayden, Angeline, Jeramiah, Kenneth, and Alanna; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Herrera was preceded in death by her husband Jose Felipe (Phillip) Herrera; grandson, Phil Herrera, and parents, Victor and Salome Herrera. Mrs. Herrera was a member of the Catholic Church. Mr. Jose Felipe (Phillip) and Mrs. Clorida (Cora) Herrera started the Herrera busing company of which they were the proud owners and operators since the 1950's. Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday, September 30, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father John Tourangeau. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan Deme, Tino Herrera, Joseph Herrera, Michael Herrera Jr., Zack Herrera, and Gabe Herrera.
