Beverly M. Sturgess, 71, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Sept 25, 2008. Mrs. Sturgess is survived by her sons, Chris Sturgess and wife, Stacy Scott-Sturgess and Tim Sturgess and wife, Michelle Sturgess; grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan, Jeremy, Emily, Lucas and Caty. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Hallerberg and husband, Bill and brother, Jim Whitehead and wife, Nancy. She was preceded in death by her husband William Sturgess. Beverly was a longtime member of Los Altos Christian Church where she was active in the choir and was the organist at one time. She was also an active member of PEO and Church Women United. Mrs. Sturgess was also an organist at various churches around Albuquerque. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at Los Altos Christian Church 11900 Haines NE. Cremation has taken place.
