Mary Davis Castillo-Kuhn,age 98, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away quietly at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 22, 2008. She was born in 1910, in Moriarty to the late Jose and Juanita (Martinez) Davis. Mary was the Charter Grand Regent of the Belen Chapter of Catholic Daughters of America. She served her community as City Clerk and Valencia County Clerk in the Assessor offices. She was also preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters; her first husband, Richard C. Castillo, a prominent business man in Belen; her second husband, Larry Kuhn of Denver, CO; her daughter, Gloria Castillo Kadison, a well known film actress and son-in-law, Ellis Kadison, which Mary is survived by Gloria and Ellis two sons, Joshua and David; two sisters, Celina Raff and Anne Walker of Albuquerque, NM; and three sons, Dr. R. Robert Castillo and wife, Ruthella, Leo Castillo and Francis Leonard Castillo and wife, Regina. She is also survived by her 30 loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation and Funeral Mass were held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Interment followed at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
