Mabel Soto, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 at the age of 91. Mabel retired from Parkview Baptist Church after 29 years of service. She also worked for St. Anthony's Home for Boys until its closing. Mrs. Soto was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Soto. She is survived by her two brothers, David and Joe Madrid; her four sons, Roland Soto, Oliver and his wife Bea, Ricarte and his wife Susie, Paul and his wife Dolores; one daughter, Louise Padilla and her husband Robert; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Visitation and a Celebration of Life will be held at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2421 Wyoming NE., on Wyoming two blocks north of Menaul, Wednesday, September 24, 2008. The visitation will begin at 6:30 and the Celebration of Life begins at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE., on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
