Gloria "Anita" died of heart failure on June 8, 2008. Anita was born January 30, 1962 in Charleston, SC to John and Victoria (Vicki) Brooks, Summerville, SC. Anita is survived by her husband, Charles; sons, Charles (7 yrs) and John (4 yrs) of Omaha, NE; sisters, brothers and numerous relatives. Anita graduated from Highland High School in 1980, then received a degree in Communications from Trident Technical College in 1995. She worked as a production assistant for various TV stations in Charleston, SC and Omaha, NE. Anita was also very active in her church and son's school. Anita always had a big smile and made everyone she met feel special
