Joyce M. Parent was born on August 23, 1951 to the late Francious and Edna Parent in New Orleans, LA. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who knew her. On August 23, 2008, she passed away from cancer at the age of 57 in Albuquerque, NM. She was survived by her two children, Francesca Parent, Juan Parent and wife Judy; grandson, Francisco Parent; sister, Joan Lucas, Lucille Hankton and Nathalie Roberson; Godmother, Marguerite Parent; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a devoted employee of the Federal Government for over thirty years. She will always be remembered for her loyalty, helpfulness, giving nature and most of all her big heart.
