Rose T. Montoya was born and raised in Roy, NM by her beloved grandparents, Lee and Matita West. Rose was born April 8, 1913 and went home to be with our Lord on Monday, September 15, 2008, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Rose was an avid Lobo fan and loved working in her flower garden. She was a beloved mother and friend to all. Rose will be greatly missed. Her husband, Rudolph, preceded her in death in 2002; as well as her two granddaughters, Sheila and Ra-Lee; and her grandson, Frankie. Rose is survived by her children and their spouses, Chester, Lawrence, Rose Lee, Frances, Theresa, J.D., Georgia and Bernadette and one sister, Jenny. Rose enjoyed spending time with her 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. The Funeral Service for Rose will be held at Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church, 3907 Isleta Blvd. SW. The Service date and time are pending and will be announced.
