Sandra Kay Koger, 70, a longtime resident of Albuquerque died September 12, 2008. She is survived by her husband Bob; daughter Shirley L. Roman of Cloudcroft; granddaughter Amber Rutherford; grandsons Robert Rutherford and Shawn Rutherford all of Albuquerque; great-grandsons Glen and Ryan; numerous nephews, nieces and many other family and friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Mama Pete; brother Billy Ray and; sister Beth. She and Bob married in 1963 in Needles, CA and moved to Albuquerque in 1970 where Kay worked at the Village Inn Pancake House on west Central. One of her greatest gifts was her love for family, friends, and even acquaintances and this made her a success as a waitress as well as in life. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. A Service will be Wednesday, 10:30 am, September 17, 2008 at French Mortuary University Chapel.
