Susie C. Sanchez, 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born February 5, 1916 to Eduardo B. and Rosa (Contreras) Sanchez. She was a lifelong resident of Magdalena, NM. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Eduardo Sanchez Jr., Herman Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez and Medardo Sanchez; sisters: Leona Sanchez and Sofia Jojola. She is survived by her sister, Fabriciana Atencio of Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene with Father Andy Pavlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Magdalena Cemetery.
