Mary J. Guess, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, quietly passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends at her home. She fought a courageous battle against cancer for the last ten months. She was born at the US Air Force Hospital in Deols, France, on May 20, 1957. Mary is survived by her parents, Denise and Sam Guess of Albuquerque; brother, Robin of Washington, Illinois; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the U.S. and France. Mary was employed at the Albuquerque Veterans Medical Center as an Information Technologist for the past 25 years. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
