Helen M. Edmund, age 82 of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008 at her residence. Helen was born November 12, 1925 in Haverhill, MA to Emmanuel and Yvonne Cavagnaro. Mrs. Edmund enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and collecting dolls. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She loved the Lord and was a nurturing mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Stanley Edmund and wife, Ginny, Teri Rodgers and husband, Richard, all of Albuquerque, Patricia Smith and husband, Lee of Pueblo, CO, Gary Edmund and wife, Connie of San Antonio, TX, Mark Edmund and wife, Bonnie of Longview, TX, Christine Dodson and husband, Richard of Waco, TX and Scott Edmund and wife, MaryLou of Colorado Springs, CO; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, William (Hazel) Cavagnaro of Rochester, NY and Robert (Lillian) Cavagnaro of Harpers Ferry, WV. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward J. Edmund in 1969; as well as two sisters, Rita Rogers and Arlene McPhee; and one brother, James Cavagnaro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 13, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at John the XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. Cremation will follow the services.
