Marjorie I. Francis Ackert, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Dunkirk, NY on February 25, 1924 to Harold and Mildred Francis, but was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM. Marjorie leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Mary Pattengale and husband Michael; husband of 48 years, Robert Ackert; brother; Edwin Francis. Marjorie had a spunky attitude that brought joy to those around her. She enjoyed working many years for Save The Children Foundation. Marjorie was a creative person who liked to make afghans, and handmade gifts for others. Marjorie found joy in reading, and hearing stories, especially about animals. Services for Marjorie I.
