Florence Vogan. Our beloved sister and aunt, Florence Vogan (Aunt Floie) was taken from us too soon after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, August 28, 2008. She was born on November 22, 1946 in Abington, PA. She graduated from Endicott Junior College in Beverly, MA. After living in Denver, Seattle, and Annapolis, she settled in Albuquerque 27 years ago. She was active with community cancer charities, the New Mexico Children's Hospital, as well as her special interest in orphaned animals. She was a talented photographer. Her brother, John Vogan and wife, Nancy of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Jane Flax and husband, Dr. Michael Flax of Albuquerque; nieces, Rebecca and Rachel Flax of New York City; nephews, Dr. Rex Vogan and wife, Lauren and their daughter, Payton of Leesburg, VA and Alex Vogan of Annapolis, MD; and her many friends will cherish her memory.
