Robert "Bob" Sieberg, 57, of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at home. Bob was born on December 15, 1950 in Denver, Colorado to William Matthew and Loyola (Jiron) Sieberg. He attended Carlsbad schools, enlisting in the United States Army in August 1968. Serving his country in Vietnam, Bob was assigned to the 563rd Transportation Co. He was honorably discharged in March 1971. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, Jerry and wife, Joanna Sieberg of Carlsbad; brother, Kenneth Sieberg of Carlsbad; brother, Steve Sieberg of Tucson, Arizona; niece, Stacey Sieberg and husband, Mark Bellanca of Albuquerque; niece, Shannon Sieberg of Albuquerque; nephew, Justin Sieberg of Eugene, Oregon; four grandnieces and one grandnephew. No services will be held at this time. A Catholic burial to be at a later date in Tucson, Arizona.
