Monsignor Fred Stadtmueller died Friday, August 22. He was born May 21, 1913, in Miltenberg, Germany. His family migrated to the United States in 1928 and immediately he entered the Joesphinum Seminary in Ohio. Monsignor was ordained a priest May 26, 1940. He was pastor of St. Joseph, Mosquero; St. Augustine, Isleta Pueblo; Ascension, Albuquerque; and Holy Ghost, Albuquerque. Monsignor is survived by two brothers and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Holy Ghost Church, 927 Arizona SE. Final visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass concelebrated by Archdiocesan Priests at 10:00 a.m., Holy Ghost Church. Interment will be a Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Archdiocese of Santa Fe, 4000 St. Joseph Pl., Albuquerque, NM, 87120.
