Obituary for SERBIN

Benito Serbin, age 32, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Benito Serbin, Sr.; and a sister, Rosalva. Benito is survived by his loving mother, Lena Serbin; sisters, Delora "Sister Sledge" Serbin and Mandy Egan; a brother, Eddie Serbin; and his precious twin daughters, Isabella and Savannah Serbin; his girlfriend, Sunshine Gomez; and numerous beloved family members and a host of friends. Benito will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Benito was in business as an Insurance Agent and he also was a Loan Officer. He attended the University of New Mexico and received his Associate Degree; he also graduated from Better U Barber College. Benito was a football coach, and athlete in sports that included, football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Benito enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his twin girls whom he loved so dearly. He also enjoyed compiling music, dancing and lifting weights. A rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Anthony Chavez, Billy Jones, Marty "Pete" Jinzo, Mike Quinones, Billy Lopez, and Larry "The Ledge" Montano. Honorary Bearers will be, Leonard Montano, Jerry Velasquez, Marissa Sena, Ezequiel Sena, Jennae Castillo, Ryan Castillo, and Zach Castillo.
